Gopeesingh: 11,000 suspensions in 6 years.

Violence is on the rise in public schools, says Education Minister Dr Tim Gopeesingh.

Following a meeting with Commissioner of Police Dwayne Gibbs to discuss a collaborative approach towards minimising loitering by pupils after school, Gopeesingh told members of the media that evidence of this was seen by the number of suspensions given out.
